My name is Tim, and I started this site to help people avoid overhyped investment newsletters and find legitimate, high-value stock research services.
Over the years, I’ve researched, joined, and reviewed hundreds of finance newsletters. What I found is that many of them are more focused on marketing than genuinely helping you become a better, more informed investor.
I’ve also learned the hard way that many newsletter “gurus” are not as good as they claim to be. They often use bold promises and exaggerated claims to pull you in, but I’ve found that a large number simply do not live up to what they promise.
That’s a big part of why I started this site.
After a lot of trial and error, I eventually found a handful of newsletters that I believe offer real value, and I created The Newsletter Journal to share those with people.
To be clear, I’m not a financial advisor, financial planner, or investment professional. And of course, nothing on this site should be considered personal investment advice. I always recommend doing your own research before making any financial decisions.
That said, I do my best to offer honest, thoughtful content that helps people make more informed decisions before subscribing to an investment newsletter.
